CLOTHING LOCKERS IN MANUFACTURING PLANTS

Employee lockers are primarily associated with large industrial or manufacturing plants where workers need to change into workwear. It’s no surprise, as these workplaces are required by law to have changing rooms equipped with clothing lockers.

Every employee locker that leaves our specialists’ hands meets all the safety and hygiene regulations. We can install a divider to separate dirty and clean clothing areas, and in addition, we include a clothing rod, hangers, and hooks – all to ensure workers can store their items hygienically. In such workplaces, every employee must have their own locker to store work clothes when needed.

According to regulations, employees who change from private clothing to workwear must also have a space to change. Our employee lockers with benches or ottomans solve this problem. We can combine the locker body with seating or offer free-standing benches – it all depends on the width of the corridors in the changing room. Employees need space to move freely in social rooms.

EMPLOYEE LOCKERS FOR UNIFORMED SERVICES

Employees in uniformed services often have not one, but several uniforms that must fit into their locker. For example, a firefighter might store a uniform for rescue operations, a set for official outings, a barrack uniform, or combat gear. Moreover, when the alarm sounds for a mission, they have half a minute to put on the appropriate uniform, footwear, and helmet.

How does this affect the employee lockers we produce? Models for firefighters have no doors – so they can quickly grab the uniform – but they have more compartments and shelves. Every item of clothing has its designated spot, which the locker owner is familiar with. For uniformed services, we offer metal lockers or HPL lockers.

SOCIAL LOCKERS FOR MEDICAL STAFF

People in medical professions also need to wear workwear every day – such as lab coats and changeable footwear. Work lockers for both uniformed services and doctors must be of the right height to hang work clothes that won’t get creased or fall.

EMPLOYEE LOCKERS FOR OFFICES

Not all employers are required to equip social rooms with employee lockers. This requirement applies only to workplaces where employees must change from clean (private) clothes to workwear, such as uniforms or lab coats. In these cases, metal lockers are necessary to store both clean and dirty work and personal clothing.

However, this does not mean that employee lockers won’t work in other workplaces. From experience, we know that an employee locker is also a great addition to office spaces. Employee lockers provide secure storage for company equipment, such as laptops or phones, documents, and personal belongings. Every employee has their own space, allowing them to arrange their workspace comfortably.

Employee lockers are ideal for both corporations and smaller companies that don’t have enough desks for everyone and have introduced hot-desking. In this case, each employee has a locker where they can store their personal belongings after their shift and prepare their desk for the next employee.

Employee Clothing Lockers – Equipment and Parameters

• Compartment division – Depending on the length of the employee locker, we can place from one to four compartments in a single body. The more compartments, the more space-saving, but you won’t be able to hang uniforms or coats without them getting wrinkled. Therefore, it depends on whether employees need to change into workwear. For example, offices can have three or four compartments in one locker, while we suggest one long compartment for medical facilities.

• Equipment – The interior of employee lockers must be functional, so we can install shelves, dividers, rods, special hooks, or hangers. Clients can freely configure the compartment structure.

• Accessories – In addition to the interior equipment, we can enhance employee lockers with custom ventilation, opening limiters, number plates, covers, sloped roofs, or integration with an electronic access control system.

• Color – Our stock decors include several standard colors, such as gray, blue, red, or green. For clients who want a more unique color scheme, we offer other shades from the RAL palette upon request.

• Dimensions – Social rooms vary in size, so we do not limit ourselves to a single standard size for our furniture. Employee lockers can be designed and made to measure, allowing us to fully utilize the available space while leaving enough room for employees to move freely within the room.
